I'm graduating!!!!

School has been hectic, even during the weekends. We all have to prepare for our board exams and recall all our "stucked" or rather stock knowledge. The review sessions are a big help, but I would really want at least A day-off from a tiring week. Well, Voila! I get my anticipated day-off today for some reason I'd rather not talk about. JK. I overslept :p

I have only one goal on hand for next year—-to wear a toga, receive a diploma, and shake hands with the school president. I had second thoughts posting this one because I don’t want to make a bummer future post saying, “oh, I’m not graduating.” Nursing isn’t easy-peasy I tell you. But, with the high enthusiasm I have for nursing, I sure have high hopes in graduating. Hopefully, no other unfortunate things would happen. I am going to complete my forms and pass all the requirements. I promise. :)
But wth! I want to graduate ASAP and pursue what I really want to be.<3

I didn't get my final picture yet. So I just settled for this :)

Hopefully, my smile didn't look that fake in the picture

Hunger Games trailer

Do you remember my post about one of the best YA fiction books I have read?
The Hunger Games!
Well, Just earlier today, they have released the trailer and I'm just so happy right now that even though school is keeping me so busy, I watched it like 20 times. I was teary eyed while watching the movie cause it seriously met my expectations. Though, i noticed that some parts have changed, it melted my heart to see my imaginary characters come to life. And seriously, this was what i imagined while reading the book.  Lionsgate productions did a very awesome job on this one. Unlike twilight's fail, I sincerely hope that this movie would be a big HIT!

Personality test

Below are my results from the Personality test I took online. I decided to post this because it's kind of accurate to my own perceptions of myself, especially the last part.. :)  Try it HERE

Your view on yourself:
You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun, people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are not looking merely for a girl/boyfriend - you are looking for your life partner. Perhaps you should be more open-minded about who you spend time with. The person you are looking for might hide their charm under their exterior.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?  ---- HAHAHAHA I SERIOUSLY DON'T BEHAVE SEDUCTIVELY....?

Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:
You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

You desire a love that will last forever. You are quite serious about finding this type of love, and that's why you think carefully about the men that you meet before deciding whether you could really love them. You don't just develop a crush on someone overnight: you look at a person's personality and other aspects of their life before deciding to form an attachment. If a guy doesn't meet your expectations, you would rather be alone. Your love has to be perfect. Be careful though, you could be missing out on some worthy relationships because your standards are so high.

Sembreak blues :l

So many stuffs in my "to do list"
It just seems like a long weekend holiday if you ask me. But it was a breath of relief. The last 3 weeks were so surreal like it never happened. But it did, and all I got to do was to go back in school and waste my time. hmmm. Clearance signing sucks. The only thing that made it fun, was the series of reviews.

I am still contemplating on whether or not I should start catching up with answering my review questions. I'm like 200 plus questions behind and I don't have the slightest interest on answering it. Not even sure if what I'm going through is really that stressful. Just thinking about reading my nursing books and review books makes me want to take my guts out. It sure feels like the whole world is on my shoulders and my head is about to explode from the pressure. And I'm still NOT doing anything about it. I mean I promised myself to STUDY HARDER but I always tend to do the opposite. pshhhh. I dont want to rant haha It's just that I'm pretty frustrated with how I manage my time.

Maybe a short break will make me feel better. Just some time out, to give myself a little breather. Maybe an extension of the break? hahaa

I would love some quiet time to just think, maybe start blogging again or even pick up the marker and start reviewing my nursing notes from way back Haha...

Too many maybes, too many ifs... It's do or don't. Sometimes, things so simple can make me go crazy.

Those words

THOSE WORDS

Verse 1: C F Am G
Painted Times
In this heart of mine
making melodies

Every strum
of my guitar
oh it's you i see

Bridge 1: C9 Em7 Dsus
And i hope that i'll still hear
Those words that you reveal

Chorus: C Am F G
I never thought there's an angel falling down for me
Those sweet words that my soul can't hardly bare
Everytime i'll wait for you trying to speak

C9 Em7 Dsus
Those words i love to hear
Music to my ear
And i hope that you will say
Those words everyday, to me

Verse 2: C F Am G
Every Smile
Yes you shine
Wipes all my tears

Your simple touch
takes away
all i fear

Bridge 2: C9 Em7 Dsus
And i hope that you would stay
Beside me everyday

Repeat Chorus:

C Am F G
la lalala lalalahaa lalala la la

Coda: C9 Em7 Dsus
And you've said what you feel
I thought it was unreal
When you land your lips on me
G
It was real

I actually have no idea how this song goes or how it is sang. But it's really charming and interesting :) hahaa Makes us really think that true love maybe does exist after all.

If you are wondering, this song was composed by a friend :) Check out his blog Raijin23
Continue composing great songs :)

My very own bucket list :)

Just recently, we were forced to watch this movie, The Bucket List.

From the title per se, it is a tear jerking movie that dealt with the nearing death of a person. Something that I wouldn't want to watch in the presence of other people especially my classmates. But then, the movie really intrigued me since most of the people who saw it really testified about its content. If you haven't seen the movie or don't know what a bucket list is all about then, you would find it difficult to understand these statements. Well,  a bucket list is a list of things you would want to do before you die. I believe this coined the term "kicked the bucket" when you eventually got the contents in the bucket, you can carry on.

Thus. lead me to a decision of creating my very own bucket list.
And since I'm a great traveler/wanderer, part of my bucket list would be to visit every island in the Philippines first. My nationalistic personality is screaming here. hahaha
Yeah, I should visit local places first before venturing on the different cultures the globe has to offer.
And i found this song that would be a great representation on the first item of my bucket list. :))

Napasyal ka na ba Sa intramuros at luneta
Palawan, vigan at batanes
Subic, baguio at rice terraces

Namasdan mo na ba
Ang mga vinta ng zamboanga
Bulkang taal, bulkang mayon

Sinulog at kadayawan?

Namiesta ka na ba sa penafrancia sa naga, Umakyat sa antipolo
Nagsayaw sa obando?

Halika, biyahe tayo
Nang ating makita
Ang ganda ng pilipinas
Ang galing ng pilipino.

Halika, biyahe tayo...
Wow philippines...

I've already crashed some. See? I still got a very long way to go. Can't wait to crash more things here.

What we get.

I'm back! I totally post in spurts in this blog. Pardon me, for not being consistent. Schoolwork is definitely stopping me from updating this blog. But, I'm trying my best to manage my time well :) Bare with me, blog. (hahaha okay I'm talking to my blog.)

Just this week, the Philippines had an unwelcome guest who dropped by. Typhoon Egay. And because of this visitor, thousands of residents, in the country, now live in a world of mud. The rain brought about by the typhoon triggered floods in Manila reaching waist level. Quite shocking, Yes. But when interviewed by the media men, they verbalized that this happens occasionally and they should get used to it. This notoriously polluted capital is one that is most vulnerable to flooding. Manila, as they say, is bound to face this catastrophe with the blame on the city's geographical structure, bad sewage, and improper WASTE disposal.I mean, I can't imagine putting myself in such a complicated life.  The thing that I'm afraid of is that Cebu might be slowly following it's footsteps.

Here are some pictures I took from my phone during the typhoon.
( P.S. sorry for the bad quality. :D )

These pictures are from the Uptown of Cebu City, considered the second capital of the Philippines. Compared to Manila's flood, this is just nothing. However, I've noticed that the levels of flood water are slowly increasing through the years. To think that this specific typhoon didn't land in the city itself. Again, as observed, large parts of these floods would be the result of poor drainage and sanitation system. Who would again be blamed? The government? We all know that this was neglected or was never solved by the previous administrations. On the other hand, we should not just point our hands to the government, instead we should also point it to ourselves.  Sewers are clogged up by plastic bags and other wastes that refuse proper flow of water. Who else is responsible for these wastes than the ones who made it. If only there would be a lot of disciplined people here in our country then, severe floods might not happen.

Well, We Filipinos are resilient people. We can manage and go through these circumstances with a smiling heart. Hopefully, we would still continue to pray and to share our blessings to the ones who need them the most.

Save the Philippine seas

Save the Philippine Seas!

Our beautiful and diverse marine resources and wealth need you attention and your help. They are under attack.

Exploitative foreign films, in tandem with local partners and left unchecked by irresponsible governement officials areillegally harvesting and peddling our precious coral reefs. In one case, coral reefs twice the size of Manila was destroyed, and the plunder continues.

We cannot accept this. We must act now to save what's left of our coral reefs and to protect our seas so those beautiful and important natural resources are preserved for our and the next generation to enjoy.

We call on all Filipino bloggers, Tumblr and Posterous users, Tweeps, Plurkers and all netizens to join the June 8 International Blog Action Day to save our seas and coral reefs. Your voices, our actions are that important.

What we will do:

  • Tweet, Plurk, or post to spread the word about this event: Share or repost this announcement (and please link back to this post).
  • Use the Twitter hashtag #reefwatchPH and/or #savePHseas.
  • Spread the savephilippineseas.com URL.
  • Display and share our official campaign badge (see below).
  • Register your website/blog to let us know that you’re joining our effort to spread the word — you’ll find the registration form on the sidebar of this site. If you’re using more than one site (no Facebook or Twitter URLs, please), register each of them separately.
  • Most importantly, on June 8, join the Blog Action Day from your favorite social media channels (blog, Tumblr, Posterous, Twitter, Plurk, Facebook, etc.)
NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT

We can do this. Let's make our social media work for something good. Let's make Philippine coral reefs, seas and the need to save them trend- to raise awareness, to inspire action, to grow our communities, and to compel government action.

We wouldn't want to let this beauty die.

Papa Kit's Liloan, Cebu

Hello! :) Finally, I've got the free time to post pictures from my recent wandering. So, this time we went to Papa Kit's Marina and Fish Lagoon, located at Liloan, Cebu. Maybe 30 - 45 minutes from the heart of the city, Cebu. The main attraction of this place would be the 800 meter zipline that goes over water. This was different since most of the zipline offerings here in the region would be located in the mountainous places. Also, they humbled on offering horse rides and some glass boat rides. But the main reason why most people visit here would be just to fish and enjoy the vast scenery offered.
Apparently, we decided not to fish since our budgets were focused on the zipline adventure. Here are some pics of our short journey.
Posters at the entrance of the lagoon
My companions :D
"Jumping in pictures" is so our thing

Yeah, We're crazy like that.
Jennifer Kaye and Me, on our way up.. To the 6th floor :D
It is quite a view up there!
The zipline was fun! It wasn't as fast as we expected it to be, but it was fun. We definitely wanted to try it again. I already posted a video of my ride in the previous post so you might wanna check it. Ziplines and more
Exhilirated faces after the ride.
A horse deserves some respect. right? RIGHT?
DO you have underpants for this size? :D
Again with the jumping thing? haha
While waiting for our next ride. HORSES.
SASKE
Meet SASKE, the flirt. Why? Well, this horse is always on the run for the female horses. The caretaker braces himself every time a horse is about to meet its way. Usually, Saske would run to these female horses, which makes him not a very good ride. But, I really enjoyed riding him since he follows orders and is quite patient for my mini pictorial. LOL. And i liked his guide since he was quite an entertainer and patiently accompanied us in our stroll.
With my favorite horse guide. :D
Totally ecstatic about the whole journey. CIAO for now <3

Ziplines and more

I've always wanted to consider myself as the adventurous girl, though I'm not that confident that I am. :D Well, simply because even if I have the guts to get on the wild side, there is still a greater part of me that screams cowardness and pessimism.
On the greater side, My "laagan" roots was nagging me to try this one, so I knew I had too. The zipline over water, at Papa Kit's Liloan was something new for me somehow.
This was my second time to try riding a zipline and I already learned a lot from my past experience.
First. Thou shall not wear shorts!
-My advise would be to wear leggings or pants because shorts would just interfere with the harness. This would lead to WEDGIE shorts which we wouldn't want to happen. Plus, it hurts badly that you wont enjoy the ride well.
Second. Let GO
-You can never truly enjoy the indescribable thrill if fear is in your mind. Well, it is normal to be fearful at first but once you're harnessed and ready to go, release this negative energy and just enjoy the ride. Well, unless you acrophobic, you'd make an exemption. However, this is also a good test to fight the phobia off. Always remember that safety is already established that is why we should trust these authorities and luxuriate in what we have paid for.
Third. Bring your camera with you
- The video would be much more appealing if the camera is with the rider's hand. This was my biggest regret that time when I chose not to bring my cam with me due to the fear of it slipping from my hands. I really wanted to do it again though but.... (refer to Last advice)
Lastly. Prepare extra money for you will definitely want to ride it again and again
-Yeah. Another regret of mine was that I did not bring extra money for another ride. It was a good thing though that most of the ziplines I know offer a 50% discount on the second ride. Just so sad that I wasn't able to purchase another ride. So I'd remind myself and others that one ride is never enough.

Below is a picture and a video of me in the zipline. Full detail of the place would be on the next post.
You should be excited, not scared. :)

SCOTTY MCCREERY

Seems just like yesterday when I saw this country boy singing "Baby lock 'em doors" to the AI judges. From that moment, I knew that I would love him. I would never forget that charming smile and that super duper low and manly voice that I'm really looking for in a guy. He was the reason I managed to continue watching American Idol Season 10 amidst my tight schedule. And, he never disappointed his fans. He was the frontrunner of the show and never even landed in the bottom two, technically. At the age of 17, he became the youngest AI winner. who else? The man who's in-it-to-win-it, SCOTTY MCCREERY
Undeniably, Season 10 was the season of unique talents, personalities and shocking happenings. First. the new judges where introduced, where it was quite a shocker that the common player in the game was gone, Simon Cowell. Almost everybody thought that he was a great loss in the idol industry since he was the one that brought spice to the show. But, after his resignation the idol audience where in for a big surprise. They've introduced a very gutsy judge, Steve Tyler and well the most beautiful woman in the world, Jennifer Lopez. Of course, everybody still loves the idol veteran, Randy Jackson who was never afraid to criticize the contestants. Jimmy Lovine also proved that this season would be an exceptional one.

Then there's the contestants who we definitely love. Honestly, I loved Scotty Mccreery ever since he stepped onto that idol auditions. He was just a cute little thing, so adorable. :) Also, almost all in the Filipino community supported our fellow, Thia Megia who also didn't disappoint amidst her young age.  Top contenders where also Pia Toscano (awarded the Most shocking elimination award), Jacob Lusk (who walks and dances like he's a DIVA. jk :), James Durbin, (the guy diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome but defiinitely rocks the stage every time he's in it), Paul Mcdonald (whose floral outfits give him the slightest edge, definitely not for me though hahaha) and the love birds, Casey Abrams and Haley Reindhart who sang uniquely and so good together.

The top 2 finalists were young, and country performers. Hmmm. I think America rooted for Country this season. Or maybe, these two are just full of  charisma and talent. No one should doubt that.

Honestly, although I was rooting for Scotty at the beginning, I couldn't deny that I never expected him to win the title. All he had was his charm and the deep bass voice girls would definitely love. This put a meager advantage to those contestants who really wowed the audience for hitting high notes like Jacob Lusk, James Durbin and Pia Toscano. But, like what I've said, Scotty was a frontrunner and he improved week after week, listening to the advices of the judges as well as from Jimmy. He learned to step up and break his personal barriers. His stage presence was felt even more. And while he excelled in the country genre, he ventured out of his comfort zone and surprised every fan. The mark of a true artist as Steven Tyler would say. <3 And, who would have missed his homecoming, it was definitely the most sincere moments I've ever seen. Especially when he cried and thanked the Lord for all those people supporting him. He is such a good boy, even quoting bible verses at his Homecoming concert. Hopefully, this guy right here won't change and that he would still remain true to himself all throughout his career.

An epitome of a real idol. :)
Here are my favorite performances of Scotty Mcreery:

Single and happy

In this couple- driven society we are bound to come across people who think that finding a pair is the ultimate goal in life. They always think that finding someone to cling to can lessen the burden in one's life. Some may imply the idea that being single is somewhat "wrong". Now, why am I discussing these statements?
A couple of days ago, I realized that i missed someone. I've already convinced myself that he is special to me as well as I am to him - so he says. But, why am i still single? What's stopping me to be involved in relationships and commitments. I've never really had a traumatic relationship in the past. I mean I've never even  had a relationship, EVER. I'm part of the all known "No Boyfriend since birth" club and I'm turning 20 this year. I'm hesitant on saying that this is something to be proud of because a lot of acquaintances never believe me when i tell them that I've never been in a relationship. At least I can say that I did survive a lot of temptations that came along my way. The common reason i would say is that, "I'm concentrating on my studies as of the moment" or "My parents won't permit me" and the simplest thing I would say is that "I prefer to be single." But apart from all these so - called reasons I grappled the insides of my heart and soul and searched the rationale of my choice.

1. FATE
Apparently, I'm the kind of person who wants destiny to land at my doorstep. I know it sounds really passive. But for me, it works that way. I'm not going to try all the flavors of ice cream just to find my right taste. There has to be something special about the moment we meet and how I feel about him to know that he's the right one. Yes, It sounds lame, but this is me. I'm a hopeless romantic. We should not tire ourselves in choosing love, It comes to us eventually. As long as we are patient enough to wait for it.

2. The real meaning of a relationship
Most relationships I've heard end up a lot quicker than we thought. There's a month long relationship, to weeks and then there's just the days. Even the infamous marriage of Britney Spears ended up 24 hours after their wedding vows. How terrible is that. All those love and happiness don't really mix up quite well when we hear these stories. These untimely breakups happen because of their poor foundation. More  relationships these days started from online social networks, texting, and even random rendezvous at night clubs. For me, the best foundation for a long lasting relationship is friendship. The best lover is also your best friend. Someone who accepts you for who you are no matter how many flaws you've got.

3. The happily ever after cliche
Sacrifices are essential in a classic relationship and this should be valued by both of the people involved. thus, I am in the search of the man who thinks the same. It can add a lot of good things in life but it also adds some rigidity. So right now i'm taking the time to appreciate my current flexibility.

4. Finding myself first
To find the right guy i have to be the right girl first.

5. NO heartaches
Yes, it's true. If we don't have someone, then we won't have the risk of getting our heart broken. Although falling in love is the most beautiful feeling in the world, the aftermath would be the feeling that happens when you're left behind by a loved one. Apparently, I haven't really been heart broken before, but I've got friends who share and confide with me about their love problems. I'm thinking deep inside that i'm not yet mature and ready enough to handle this kind of pain. The kind of pain where waking up and taking your first deep breath would be really difficult. Do single people experience this? A little bit of jealousy pain, yes but not this intense. If you can enjoy life by yourself, then why complicate it by getting into a relationship?

But nevertheless i know that when I find the right guy. The REAL GUY that I'm certain that he's the one. All these conditions would never matter. As everybody would say, we loose our minds when we're in love. To sum everything up, maybe the Simplest reason why I'm still single today is that my mind is still functioning well over my heart.

The Hunger Games Trilogy

A few days ago, I finished reading Suzanne Collin's Hunger Games Trilogy. I got hold of these amazing books due to the books suggestions of my friends and from the feedbacks I have read at goodreads.com. Well, I hopped in the bandwagon and realized from the first chapters that these books would blow my mind. I mean, I'm still not in the real world right now. I'm still in Panem with Katniss Everdeen and her other tribute, Peeta Mellark. You won't ever regret reading these books for they are one of the most exciting books i have ever read and totally left me in a catatonic state.
The first Book: The Hunger games
In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.
Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games. But Katniss has been close to dead before—and survival, for her, is second nature. Without really meaning to, she becomes a contender. But if she is to win, she will have to start making choices that will weigh survival against humanity and life against love.
The Second Book: Catching Fire
Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark won the annual competition described in Hunger Games, but the aftermath leaves these victors with no sense of triumph. Instead, they have become the poster boys for a rebellion that they never planned to lead. That new, unwanted status puts them in the bull's-eye for merciless revenge by The Capitol.
The 3rd book: Mocking Jay
Young Katniss Everdeen has survived the dreaded Hunger Games not once, but twice, but even now she can find no relief. In fact, the dangers seem to be escalating: President Snow has declared an all-out war on Katniss, her family, her friends, and all the oppressed people of District 12. The thrill-packed final installment of Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games trilogy will keep young hearts pounding

Above, are the book covers and some introductions for the book. I would really want you to read these books. I even actually forced my sister into reading this one and now she can't even put it down. I think she's also far from reality today just like what happened to me before. I was in a state of bliss. You should actually read it too. If you're a Young Adult Fiction lover too. I bet my stuff, you would love it too. :)

Actually, after I finished reading the last Twilight book, I stopped living. I mean that's my problem. When I totally love a book or a movie, I try to live in them. Daydream on being the Protagonist of the plot. And then, i subconsciously told myself that i would never love another YA book again.  Now that I have read the Hunger games trilogy, i can happily say that I was wrong. Hunger games definitely has more action, more flavor, stronger plot and lots of well-developed secondary characters as well as undeniably likeable main characters. And with such a rich world and cast of characters, it's hard to resist being drawn in. You will love and hate this book. I just kept guessing what's going to happen next and then i would be wrong. I laughed and cried with the book. But, don't really think that this is a tear jerking book. I ]'m just a really soft-hearted person and i cry on very shallow stuff. Well, That's me.

But, before you read these books i'm warning you that this trilogy doesn't give you a "happily ever after" ending. Well, i don't know if Suzanne Collin projected it that way or not. But for me, no ending in any way presented would be enough for the devastations that happened in the book. I mean, I'm in no position to give spoilers here but the ending just made me lie in my bed feeling depressed and wondering to myself what went wrong. When Suzanne Collin's did really try to establish (in my point of view) a pleasant ending. But i was still not satisfied. However, the whole book was fantastically written and very compelling.

I'm very sure that once you start reading this book, you will never put it down again :))

Extra Terrestrial

This will be my first feature of a music video in this blog mainly because I just can't get enough of this song. It's stuck in my head and the only song in my custom made playlist for this week. That's how hooked I am. I totally raped the replay button on this one.
Kanye West in the song was perfect. I totally disagree to those people thinking Kanye West just ruined the song. It was like the appetizer to the main dish. For me, this song was reminiscent to Tatu's "All the things she said" song so with Kanye introducing the first parts, it totally identified the song.
The song itself gives you a space- alien feel and the video totally showed it. It's got some weird parts also.  To wrap it all up, the video showed Kanye floating in circle in some anti-gravity setting singing his verse and then comes an unidentified object that floats in space which becomes an alien and eventually becomes a really alien looking Katy. She falls in some deserted land and kisses a robot or some futuristic lover which then becomes a REALLY WEIRD albino guy with no clothes on. And turned out Katy was not only an alien, she was also half- goat.
I know, the video was really weird and was too eccentric for my taste but it just screamed the out-of-this-world feel which was kinda justifiable to the song. And I just love the song. So thumbs up to Katy Perry and of course, Kanye West.

Lyrics:

[Kanye West - Verse 1]
I got a dirty mind I got filthy ways
I'm tryna bathe my eyy in your milky way
I'm a legend I'm irreverent I'll be reverend
I'll be so faaaaa-ar up
We dont give a fuuuh-uh-uck
Welcome to the danger zone
Step into the fantasy
You are not invited to the other side of sanity
They callin me an alien a big headed astronaut
Maybe its because yo boy Yeezy get ass a lot

[Katy Perry]
You're so hypnotizing
Could you be the devil
Could you be an angel
Your touch magnetizing
Feels like I am floating
Leaves my body glowing
They say be afraid
You're not like the others
Futuristic lover
Different DNA
They don't understand you

Refrain:
Your from a whole other world
A different dimension
You open my eyes
And I'm ready to go
Lead me into the light
Chorus
Kiss me, ki-ki-kiss me
Infect me with your love and
Fill me with your poison
Take me, ta-ta-take me
Wanna be a victim
Ready for abduction
Boy, you're an alien
Your touch are foreign
It's supernatural
Extraterrestrial

Your so supersonic
Wanna feel your powers
Stun me with your lasers
Your kiss is cosmic
Every move is magic

Repeat Refrain
Repeat Chorus

[Kanye West - Verse 2]
I know a bar out in mars
Where they driving spaceships instead of cars
Cop a prada space suit about the stars
Getting stupid hah straight up out the jars
Pockets on shrek, rockets on deck
Tell me whats next? Alien sex.
Imma disrobe you
Then Imma probe you
See I abducted you
So I tell you what to do

Repeat Chorus
Extraterrestrial (3x)
Boy, you're an alien
Your touch are foreign
It's supernatural
Extraterrestrial

The best way to start my summer 2011

VACATION- a specific trip or journey, for the purpose of recreation or tourism usually done with family or friends. Well, in our case, it is defined as a period of distressing from all those tiresome days of school wherein we are caught eating magnanimously, drinking endlessly and partying all night.
And as we all know, summer 2011 has finally knocked our doorsteps. Well, who am i to deny the excitement everyone anticipates every summertime. Let's welcome SUMMER 2011 with a blast.
Hiding all the excitement I feel inside
I kid you not, we have planned this outing since the holiday season. Three pretty grils are celebrating their birthdays this month and what is more exciting than a joint birthday celebration in 3 different island in CEBU. These girls were JK (who was featured in my previous post), Jean, and Kathe. All of them are part of my BOLINAO GIRLS - what we call our group.

I started the day by waking up at 5am knowing the rather short land trip to Lapu-lapu city would take a lot of stop overs. We had to load a lot of food in our compartments since we wouldn't want our little vacation to be disturbed by our grumbling tummies. Well, most of us are on a diet anyway and mind you i'm definitely not one of those people. I'm a food lover and anyone that takes me away from food would surely be in the right way for a slap button. Even myself. hahaha  I sound so harsh and we're so off topic. Just the mention of food distracts me :D

We had to ride on this cute little "BOATEE" before boarding into our bigger Banca
At our arrival in Lapu-lapu CIty, we were directly ushered into a so-called mini port which looks like an unfinished bridge to me. And since the tide wasn't really high that time, we had to ride on this little boat which i call "boatee" to board us in our bigger Banca. As usual, you have to pay these people for their efforts of transporting us.
The unfinished bridge :))
Thank you God for the wonderful, shining, shimmering and splendid SUN. :p
Nothing could replace all the fun that rolled in when we boarded the Banca. Cameras started flashing and most of us were dancing in the beat of a speaker attached to an i pod. Good thing we did not violate the 1st beach rule: Always bring portable speakers and i pod and get the party started.

Our first stop of the trip was the Nalusuan Island. The engine roaring to a hault signaled our cue to strip into our swim wears and let the water splash begin. But before dipping into the water and getting our hairs all wet, we had a little pictorial in our banca and here are some of the pictures i personally love.

I love this shot! And i took it. :)) Mikko in his "Ninoy look
The color of the day would most definitely be Aquamarine. And i'm wearing a shade of it. :))

There's three of us.

Janessa, Chaie, Winjie, Me and Jean in our Doll-house swimwears. :)
Even the pre-swimming had to have a shot
Is it so obvious that i super love my goggles.? They match my outfit
That's me taking shots on my friends, at least you can say that i'm not the only vain person here. :))
And another vain person. Peace!
So clearly, most of the things we did in that place was to take a lot of pictures, and some swimming of course. Then, we had to transfer to another area since a lot of jellyfishes were starting to flock. But before the engines started to roar, we sang a happy birthday song to our lovely birthday girls. Then, the food was served. Nam-nam

Someone just couldn't get his hands off the food. hahaha
The next stop was to Sulpa, a small uninhabited island somewhere near Nalusuan or maybe far from Nalusuan. Forgive me for not being a great sea navigator. :)) We rounded the island looking for a place to land. Like I said, the tide was low and the banca wasn't able to bring us to the island directly. So we all went down into the chest-level water with our cameras above our heads (Sadly our cameras weren't waterproof).

Heading to Sulpa island.
My Bohol girls - minus Febrah. :((
The sea looks so inviting
This was supposed to be a video :D
The island even has white sand :) Lovely :)

We got sundrugged.
Someone is also posing behind us.
Resting in a cottage in the island
Last shot before boarding the banca.
It's our first time to land in this relatively unspoiled island. Only cottages where available, i bet there's also no electricity in the island. And again, all we did in the island was to take more pictures. Moments that would want to be turned into precious memories. With the sea sighing at our background, what's not to love?
After boarding the Banca, we then headed to our supposedly pit stop of the day. The Talima Marine Sanctuary. I've already been here though, so i anticipated a lot of fishes including my favorite one from last time, the Purple fish. Almost all of us swam into the water and fought the waves. I literally got a headache and almost drowned from laughing so hard while swimming. A little bit of snorkeling and jumping in the water, then most of us got tired and decided to chat under the roofs of our banca. Some were also sleeping and are most probably drunk. We chilled at the beaches of Tambuli Beach Resort and then headed for the port. Most of us were really sleepy and tired that it became quiet in the boat.
Heading home
The whole time I was there, my brain was silently screaming "MORE". It was so difficult to leave and the fun an excitement has not entirelt died yet. And then, i am reminded by those rays of the sun shining ahead of us. It's officially the start of summer.
We'll meet again soon islands of Cebu. :)
